Yeah, dumb question, I know. I'm trying to eBay my Salomon Falcon 10s that ended up being too big. They sat in my garage over the summer once they were replaced. Now I'm trying to sell them and I can't be certain what size they are. The shell says 28-29.5, the liner says "TG 280-295 SX" on the shaft, and "R1 280 20" on the forefoot. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The wife will finally get off my back about getting these out of the garage!
How can I tell what size my boots are?

I'd guess 28.0 based on the forefoot stamp. But you might also want to pull the footbed and see what size is stamped on that, it may shed an additional clue.
In recent years, Salomon has been using the same shell and footbed for X.0 and X.5 sizes on some models, but adding padding to the liner for the smaller size. I think that's what you'll find in this case, but checking the footbed should confirm.
