Al hobart for young racers and Dave Cook references on the net

I'm new here in posting topic and a little embarrassed too in posting a topic that you think it couldn't be of general interest.
Coming to the point i would be interested to know if anyone knows about articles or some writings or something by Al Hobart about technical and training sessions for young racers.
I've tried to search info on the net about that but i've always find the info that i hightly apreciated on shapeski.com.
And just another thing.
One time, always on the net, i found a series of articles by Dave Cook telling about his featuring at various (in various years) at Mini-Academy by the PSIA demonstration team in various locations.
I found those reports so interested for the abundance of technical tips and analysis.
Those articles was on jps.net (i.e.: http://www.jps.net/jwinship/Baldetime.htm) but now if you try to open those link the browser takes you to another place where i can't find anymore them.
Apart from that, i'm asking if anyone knows if there have been some development of the work by Dave Cook that i can find on the net or somewere.
Bye all for now and keep on doing this marvellous work on this "epic" site!!

i'd like to correct my expression in english: "a little embarrassed too in posting a topic that you could think it couldn't be of general interest"..maybe more confusing..but..i didn't want that this sentence could have the meaning: "i think that no one is interested in..". It was me that was afraid to write topic here for a personal interest.

Luick,

Have you been to Al Hobart's web site? You might contact Al and ask him to guide you to where to find those articles.

Dave Cook is a member of the education staff for PSIA-C (Central Division covering the Midwest), and you probably read some of his reports from the Central Division mini-academy events on the PSIA-C website: http://www.psia-c.org/

PSIA-C brings members of the PSIA Demo team to several Midwestern events each season. They help train the education staff and also offer these Mini-Academy gatherings so we flatlanders can clinic with the D-Teamers.

Unfortunately, PSIA-C basically closes its website down periodically to make changes, and this appears to be one of those periods because all they have available now is photos from past events.

Al Hobart's schedule is still for the spring of 2000. Lots of luck e-mailing him(he never returned mine)
I've skied with Dave Cook, he's a good skier but as a "PSIA guy" not really on the "cutting edge" of racing. Check http://www.skiracing.com for a listing of programs for kids.(some are in Europe).
The Skiers Edge by Ron LeMaster is a great book http://ronlemaster.com
Since you're in Italy, why not PM Matteo. He'd probably be able to point you towards some programs near you. You've got better mountains than we do anyway.

First of all, I’d like to thank all for your answers!! You know, it’s my first post here and I consider it so great to receive each of your replies from you instructors and skiers!

Nolo: thanks a lot for the link. I know this site but it worths to remind that there it exists a space for the reader to ask questions to Al. I have forgotten it but anfter the SLATZ post, I’m considering if email or not there.

Kneale Brownson: thank you very much for the link to psia-c.org I didn’t get it. I have been there after you wrote here that link and enjoyed the pics.
If not clear, my interest it would be to get in contact with Dave Cook to ask him directly if possible and to be able to talk to him about the various of the technical tips he detailed in his reports.

SLATZ great! You also give me the nick name logged here of an italian to speack about the interest I revealed here. I also hightly apreciated the site you gave me here.

Hoping to be able to go to the glaciers of our mountains soon!
