Help--Need Binding Advice for Volkl World Cup Piston Plat

Thread Starter

Hi there,

I need binding advice for some skis that I am setting up.  I bought some ice skis Volkl RaceTiger GS 06 with the  World Cup Piston Race Plate with no Bindings.  I know that the Marker Comp Series are intended to mount to these plates.  I dont need a DIN 18 and dont want to buy a new race binding.  So what other bindings from the last couple of years will mount to the Plate.  Many Markers have a built in plate of sorts like the select control and the IBX.  Can these be removed from the existing plate and mounted to the WC plate.  Would like to stay within WC 50 or 55MM of stack as well.

Please Help It is Raining = Ice this weekend

Hi Chris

I just got a pr. of the Volkl Race Tiger GS on Ebay with the Piston Plates and no bindings. I put on the EPS 14. They don't connect with the piston. It was very hard for me to get any info, but from what I've been able to gather is it isn't that important. I haven't been out on them yet, maybe this weekend.

Comp 16 Comp 14 Comp 12. They'll all fit. I'd get 14 or above (better toe).
