And if we really take this to a conclusion 5-10 years down the road I want to see the mountains start grooming less and less and leaving more of the mountain in its natural state. I'd love to see some place have the chutzpah to stop grooming almost completely (maybe a place like A-Basin). This isn't that far-fetched if you consider what these new ski designs can do.
No grooming + everyone on rockered skis= Badly shaped moguls formed by hordes of intermediates slarving turns.
Sure you can ski double diamonds on your rockered skis, but you are still probably an intermediate.
I like rockered skis. Where I ski the most Powder is a long skate in, long narrow traverse out. No one goes back there with rockered skis.
