In hibernation since ESA stowe '07. working out of country very far south. No skiing and not much golf -- back now but rusty . Headed to CO next week with family--will ski Fri-Mon. Staying at Lions head. Will have grandkids 10 and 12 and possibly friends in need of lessons - VSP will you be at Lions square?  If anyone is around let me know -- a few laps or a few beers -- whatever

Wow, I've been wondering where you've been!

How's your daughter?  I thought you were bringing her back to Stowe for 08.  You were both missed.

Hi TC,

After viewing the TR's and snow reports, it looked like another great ESA in '08. Had family committments to deal with. Cat is fine -- knee's mended and ready to go. We were primed to come to Stowe but it didn't work out. Always next year. On the way to the golf course -- good to be back.

Make sure you "hook up" with Vail snopro. He is the man!

Well we are pretty sure he is, we had a few unconfirmed encounters and I am sure he would not only have been a great ambassador of Vail, but also a genuiely great guy.

(Thanks Ric)

It may have been one of the top 2 ski trips in my memory. We had fantasic weather and met some really cool bears. We are going to do a trip report but our pro photographer ( Bazzer) is still skiing!!! , he may never go back to Florida. We met Deliberate1 and his wife (Dave and Cindy) Bazzer and Bazzer Jr , Indi Hokie and all his friends, Jon wils, and of course several "unconfirmed" meetings with Vailsnopro.

They dragged me onto the hill every morning for first run and off at the end of the day when the lifts shut down. My legs ached and my feet screemed, they made my poor old bones go thru trees and off drops, over bumps and under lift line ropes.

I felt like a kid again!!

What more can I say without starting a trip report (will leave that to Bazzer and Lady Salina) then IT WAS EPIC !!!

Since I've never skied Vail, it all sounds good. I'll give you a report after Friday, our 1st day out. Grandkids are headed to ski school so I'll look up VSP to get an idea of how to ski the area.

Hi rapid,

I'm out in Summit Co from Feb 28th for a week, hooking up with a friend from Denver.

Will PM you if (when) we're going to Vail or BC.

Have a great trip!
