Here are some pics from my last trip to utah. The first day my wife and I skied at snowbird, and I went to Alta on the combo ticket for about 2 hours. Next day we did snowbasin, then we did the last day at snowbird.
This was my first time at Alta. My wife didn't want to go because they don't have safety bars. She is a real trooper but I could understand because I actually thought I was going to fall a couple of times. However I really like the feal of Alta, and had a lot more left over powder stashed than Snowbird.
This next sequence is myself entering an areal with some pretty deep soft snow. I was so exited to find that it wasn't as crusty as I thought it was going to be, that I didn't know I had a little rock that was going to launch me 20 feet long. Needless to say I was cought off balance on my landing, popped out of my bindings, and did a front flip. It was actually fun to fall in soft snow, but it took me about 5 minutes to snap back in.
Here are some nice symetrical powder turns. The next day we went to the goldminers daughter after skiing to watch the superbowl, and read about FARMER DAVE, and that made me think of this.
