Flying with Ski Boots

Thread Starter

Hey guys, I'm going out to whistler tomorrow on Continental. I'm renting

skis out there, but of course, am bringing my boots. There are 2 pairs. Does anyone know

what the deal is with fees or the lack of fees, and what they need to be in?

Most folks bring their good boots on the plane in their carry on bag, usually a small boot bag.

Always took my boots as carry on - never had a problem with TSA as long as they are one of the two allowed carry on pieces. I always put them in the bag to avoid argueing with gate agent how to count the boots - as one ot two pieces.

I would say try searching, but understand how useless features like that have become. Ad money is god.
