Head Mojo 15 vs. Fischer x17

I've been reading this site for a while and decided to finally subscribe to ask for help deciding on what bindings to get with my new Watea 84 skis.  I bought these skis for mogul and tree skiing but I also like to rip on the groomers (ex-racer) between runs to get my legs back.  I have been told I should get the lightest bindings I can.  I have z 12 ti bindings on my other skis (Salomon Guns) and like them a lot.  I also am looking into Head Mojo 15 and Fischer x17 bindings but have never skied either.  Any recommendations?

I ussually have my din setting around 9-10.

I have both (Mojo 15 and X17).   Get the one you can get the best price on.

I also run my DIN 9-10 and have not noticed any difference between the bindings.

I have the X17s, a friend has the Mojos and I am pretty sure they are identical apart from having a different spring, so if you don't need a higher DIN go with the Mojo, or whichever is cheaper.

Should I consider the Jester or the Z 12 ti bindings?

These are all good bindings, although the Z12 will be lighter (more plastic) and perhaps not as rugged over time if you're aggressive or if you plan to catch big air. The Tyrolia/Heads may be a touch more knee friendly. But truth is, you can keep asking about different candidates, and you'll keep getting answers either like mine (all work) or answers from devotees of a particular brand, and not sure at the end of the day what you'll learn. Go for the best price on a particular DIN type, and if you're aggressive, stay with a 14 or higher that has mostly metal in it.

Also Tyrolia Peak 15 is the same as the Mojo 15 except for graphics.  I like all of the LD / Mojo / Peak variants from Tyrolia and Head.

niether tyrolias are crap! its actually funny to me and I am sure others who are thinking he has a flat ski and want to put tyrolias on.

I would go with looks or Solly perferably ones that have lots of metal in them.

Thanks for the info.  I ended up going with the X17s since they were only 159.99 on ebay.  Hopefully they are a little easier on my knees than my Z12s because my knees got beat up skiing powdery moguls today.

dawgcatching has Mojo 15 and Peak 15 bindings for $159, see the deals for members section.
