ski boots

I am looking to buy my own ski boots, but am trying to do so on a budget (I'm a teacher).

I am an exact size 22, and can find none that I like that are inexpensive enough. I have found some that are a 22.5. Can I get away with buying boots that are a little too big? Or is that unsafe?

Hi Banana.

The only difference between a 22.0 and a 22.5 in the same boot model is the thickness of the stock insole.  The 22.0 will have a thick insole.  The 22.5 will have a thin insole.  The difference will be minimal.

Nothing wrong with not wanting to spend a lot, but skimping on boots is the worst place to cut corners.  Go see a professional boot fitter and get properly fitted.
