Dalbello Surge Ski Boot

Thread Starter

Anyone know anything about these or have any experience with them? My husband is thinking about these, so any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't have any experience with that boot in particular, but I have fitted many people to Dalbello Proton Series boots.  The Surge is a Proton Series boot in Dalbello's freeride category.  If your husband is a strong skier, and the boot matches your husband's footshape, the Surge can work.  My former customers were very happy with their boots (I left the biz last year).

Make sure your husband gets properly fitted to get the best performance and comfort of the boots.

Proton Shell with a flex rating on the stiffer side, I have had lighter guys in the boot than Mr. Dive and they fount it too stiff. I would suggest the ID liner if he can get them. But again it all comes down to how the boot fits his foot.

I'm 220, 5'11. About to buy the surge for my east coast boot. I'll write a review when I get them
