I have spent the last 3-4 weeks trawling through and communicating with the online alpine ski retailers across the globe, looking for a particular range of Fischer luggage to match the Fischer ski equipment that my daughter has just purchased.
Everyone appears reluctant to stock or supply said items, despite being advertised on the official Fischer website. To my extreme annoyance, and surprise, not even Fischer themselves appeared interested enough to reply to any of my numerous requests for advise/assistance.
Obviously they are not interested in the individual consumer and do not place any value on customer care, though they were interested enough to register me for their monthly newsletter (via auto generated email address - no doubt to ensure you cannot reply)! Fortunately we have found a Salomon range that we have, reluctantly, now purchased.
If my experience is anything to measure customer care & after-sales support by, I recommend you do not purchase Fischer equipment, unless you too do not object to carrying it in luggage from another manufacturer.
I rue the day I have to call Fischer for any warranty support…
