Need rubber part that goes between toe plastic riser and the ski. Part was missing from new binding box.
Will any other pilot bindings fit these skis?
Occasionally I see them on eBay. If the seller is honest & points out they are only good for Pilot skis they go for a real cheap price because they are worthless for other skis. Unfortunately, the sellers often don't point out the difference so its hard to determine if they are pilot bindings unless they include pictures of the bindings or, better yet, the label on the box.
Are these the very first generation Pilot bindings (which I have been told can't be used on anything else due to the design) or the 2nd generation bindings? I have been told by what I would consider reliable sources that the 2nd generation of Pilot bindings could actually be removed from the proprietary plate that has the pin and mounted on any ski (whereas the first generation does not have this capability).
If they are first generation- I have a set of 912 series pilot bindings (no pins or brakes) that are missing one of the toe pieces. If they would help you out- they are yours for shipping and a few dollars for the effort of packaging them up. I may have pictures of them if you need them. They are black toe and heal with the lime green plates and only a single toe piece with the 2 heel pieces that have the adjustable length, demo style.
