So my wife texts me earlier that her company is sending her on a business trip over Valentine's / President's Day weekend... to Jackson Hole!

Evidently no one else in the office wanted to go to Wyoming in the middle of Winter, but she volunteered!

We now have her airline ticket, a rental car, and four nights at a hotel paid for by her company, plus a per-diem for meals! The best part is, she only has to work at a client site for about an hour Saturday morning!

Business-ski trips rock. I've had "the company" pay for trips to Snowbird, Squaw, Taos, Steinplatte (Austria) and heli-skiing in the Bavarian Alps. I had to fly 2 of the 5 days on the heli-skiing trip, but....

I used to work for a few companies that sent me to some great hills on business trips.

Crested Butte twice
Taos
The Canyons
Beaver Creek
Loveland
Killington

I once sent someone to Whistler/Blackomb in my place and another person to Aspen and will always regret those decisions.

I need to find myself another one of those jobs dammit.
