Feb 28 is the day of history at Squaw. What might this history be? The infamous out of bounds tram face will be the host of a freeriding contest! More info on TGR and the link below (as well as searching google gives you additional info).

Just search google for more info but that's the basics.

Wish I could watch. Too bad I'm stuck in London.

Billie Goats

We really could use some snow to make it real, arc some stuff. otherwise it's for the billie goats. give it some vibes.

heard it might be around the ridge to the west, closer to Silverado. anyone know?

i can't wait for this... the freeride comps the last two years at squaw have been about the coolest things i've ever seen.

there's supposed to be a qualifying event the week before too... would be pretty sick if we could get some of the local rad-dogs up there.

here's the venue:

some of the sickest comps I have seen involved billy-goat lines.

Everybody loves lines that require surgical precision.

edit:
ain't no billy-goating here...

Having ridden the tram several times a few years ago I think I can say this will be MUST SEE TV

I believe it says on that website that the slope ranges from high 60s to mid 30s over a 1.3k vert. Pretty gnar?
