A model year comparison question

Hi all. I have a question that I could really use some help with right about now. There are a few skis I've been looking at and I'm down to two now, but I've run into two new dilemmas in the mean time.

The skis in question are the Fischer Red Heat and the Atomic Nomad Bluemoon. The difference between the '08 and '09 models of these ski's is about $200 and I have no idea if there is an actual improvement in them this year as opposed to last that would make that price worth it. I'm told that the Red Heats this year are better than last years because of an improvement in the shape that went a bit over my head.

Also, I've tried to search the forums for a review of the Bluemoon's but I've got nothing. What I know about the ski is that they're supposed to last longer than wood skis, they're light, and they got reviewed somewhere I don't recall as the best ski right now to help move up to a more advanced skill level. If anyone has any opinions on that I'm more than happy to hear them.

Thank you in advance.

I was told by a Fischer rep that the Red Heat only had a graphic change from '08 to '09.

I bought some '08s and am very pleased with them, although I only have skinny little beginner skis to compare them to.
