Any Jiminy skiers want company?

I’m new to the area (living just 12 miles from Jiminy), and new to the sport, but progressing rapidly (been on skis for only 6 times and starting to go down the blues). I’m the kind of person who takes a lesson once every 4 trips to the slope, and practices hard.

And I’m looking for company. I’m a very active 51 year old guy, and want to find a few people to ski with, while sharing tips, having a great day on the slopes, and being generally supportive of each other.

Anyone care to meet me there? I’m not really looking for the carpool thing – I would want to meet you there, or at my house, which is on Rt 20, about 12 miles west of Jiminy.

Hi malcomtent, and welcome to Epic!

I don't have a pass for Jiminy Peak, but would love to ski with you. I have a clinic today at Bousquet, but perhaps sometime during the week? My husband, Jeff, would probably want to tag along, too....but he's limited to Sundays and weeknights (he patrols at Bousquet on Saturday nights).

PM me with your schedule and we'll try to meet. Whee!

6/7 season pass holder so I am there often. Sundays I am there if I can't get my act together to go north. Try to go at least one day during the week.

Post when you are heading over. I have a nice group of people that I ski with that don't seem to have jobs

Feel free to PM, too.

Welcome.

Sorry, folks. I never received any emails from this site telling me you'd responded. Anyone still interested? I'm skiing tomororw, Saturday March 7th? And again on Sunday, weather permitting.....

Now let me see if there's an option here somewhere to get this site to send me emails when someone replies.

Malcolm

Sent you a pm.

With the site being newly revamped, it might be a good idea to check your thread once in a while until things are running smoothly.    Have fun and stay dry!

malcolmtent,

You still going to Jiminy tomorrow?  It may be freezing drizzle tonight, not sure how good that sounds.  I usually ski at Killington but may not go up this weekend.

Skier from NYC here.  Gonna be @ Killington next week, but @ Jiminy on way home, Fri night 3/13 & Sat 3/14. I'm up for doing some turns with fellow bears as well.
