It was a fabulous day.  Or, in the words of the sage Segbrown "It did not suck".

So Trek basically nearly took out a dude, and COskigirl nearly took out 4 ! Gee, is there something you'd like to share with the group?

Btw, I don't want to comment too much based on one photo, but uh if we were picking teams I might pick little Olivia over Mr. Storm Trooper!

Sounds like fun out there....

you'd pick right!  She's a lil Ripper!

Ice Lady, Mr. TC, TC and Tom ready for their first ride on C chair at Mary Jane.Lunch at the Sun SpotYour humble reporter. The last .01 second of a HUGE air. Nice trigger finger TC =)

So I've worked on getting my bestest Cadillac ski buds to my little corner of the world for a couple of years now.  Arms were twisted, wheels were greased and curmudgeonry was endured but finally on a sunny Monday morning in early February 2009 I got a phone call as I was putting my undies on.  "Hey, it's Tricia.  We're in the C lot, where are you?."  "Geez, what time is it?"  "It's almost 8:00am."  "Well you're about a half hour early, aren't you?"  That was the start to a very cool day of skiing and commeraderie.

Groomers were zoomed, lunch was consumed.

Phones rang, ears were harangued.

Customers were thanked, money was banked.

Trees were avoided, new Jane skiers annointed.

Bump lines were learned, stickers were earned.

It was a day that I will not soon forget.  My heart will be warmed everytime I think back to the day I introduced my good friends to the Jane and the Park side.

To all of you COskiers that avoid WP/MJ, I know full well that your fave hills are way fun but really, you're missing out.

Edit:  Okay, first time using new photo uploader.  Thought the text would be displayed.

First photo:  Ice Lady, Mr. TC, TC and Tom getting ready to load the C chair for the first time.

Second photo:  Lunch at the Sun Spot.

Third photo:  The 'experts' getting ready to rip up Outhouse.

Fourth photo:  Your humble reporter.

Fifth photo:  The last .01 of a HUGE air.  Nice trigger finger TC =)

Oh, and Lars, TC acquitted herself quite nicely on Outhouse and Frenchman as well as Trestle and other assorted bumpsThumbs Up

This is the Post of all Posts in this TR!

BF, you Rock!!!!

Mr TC and Tom kept saying, "We have to come back here!!"

Thanks for being a great reason to stop and take "stroll breaks" all the way back to Michigan.

Anyone who wants to have a great day at Mary Jane, should schedule a day with Bumpfreaq!!

Lars, He said I earned the right to put a "no jane no pain" sticker on my F17's!!  Yay me!

Great pics TC and Chris. Good for you for gutting it out at the Jane. I'm green with envy. The sticker everyone should have. 'No Pain-No Jane"

Truely one of my favorites and best memories over the years.

Sounds like the Northern Michigan group had a great time...  Wish I had headed out that way, as it was bitter cold here.

Glad you all had fun

Hope to meet you sometime, TC....

Very cool, I'll mosdef look forward to that.  Do you think that next time Mr. TC will relent and park on 'my' side of the lot?

Nice TR.

Best shot of the last is that one of Bumpfreaq standing. The big air....well, did you catch a fish too?!

It's a digital camera prob- shutter delay.

What's up with that lunch!! ummm....

The lunch was amazing!

IIRC, Mr TC had a rib eye sandwich, while I had pasta primavera with garlic sauce, Tom had Wild game stew, and BF had the lamb salad.  Yummy!

You got a problem with that tog?
