I am looking for a ski to buy. i am 5'7 155lbs. i am a beginner/intermediate, i can go down a black diamond without falling but not completely in control. i live on the east coast so need something to carve hard even on ice. however i love moguls(altho im constantly getting owned by them) n powder n am planning a trip out west for some great skiing and hopefully good lessons. i definitely need a used pair, so itd have 2 be a couple years old. i would love 2 get all-mountain skis and bindings for under 200. i would go up 2 300 however. do u have any recommendations on a great set of all-mountain forgiving skis from a cple years ago that i can ski for a couple years as i improve and not be bored with them? o and one more question, when i buy used skis do i have to worry wat size the bindings were set at or can that be adjusted?

you want a lot out of the ski. I would recommend trying some mid-fat demos than wait to the end of this season and by some demos from a shop

All of these links are on ebay. You may have to cut and past the links, but they should work.

Go to your local shop, you can get 1 & 2 year old skies for a great deal.

Paid $125 for my wifes K2's, $150 for daughters Salomon's & $200 for other daughters Head 'Fine Thang' w/ bindings.

Lower end series of any ski brand are best for beginners, more flex... When your looking at skis don't be fooled by the $1,200 price tag on the Atomic M2tron or the K2 Apache, these are for more advanced skiers who know what they're after.
