As trolls go you were doing decently until you screwed up on 1) the lack of spell check on your new computer (ALL new personal computers have some form of spell check and unclear how you can even access this site without using a return key), 2) the 8th grade reference (any 8th grader writes more coherently than you seem to, and yet presumably you've held a decent job to support your old school skiing and recent purchases/demos) combined with the "coach" reference (unless you were an unsung member of a non-school based team coached by a guy who was "old school" up to a few years ago. Uh huh.), 3) Your age, which based on your 70's referents would have to be waay too old to be hauling your kids' skis, and of course, 4) the twin tip interest - or more accurately your-all-over-the-map interests in skis - neither of which fit with all your "old school" froth about how you ski like Plake.
It's been, uh, different, but getting old...
BTW I generaly only buy 1 pair of skis a decade so what I buy I have to live with. Thats why the over zelious and Im sure sometimes redundency for lack of knowledge of new gear. But im learning fast!! My last pair of boot rivets that hold the top half on wore threw and I had two buckles that I used tie straps to sinch as the day wore on. I will wear out what I buy before I buy another pair. I wish i could be a grear hound like some I know. No need if i make the right choice the first time. In this case it will be the second time.
