Picked up the finished build yesterday afternoon and took 'er on the maiden voyage last night. God damn...I'm now drinking the 29'r cool aid (for hardtail singlespeeds anyway). So fast, so smooth. Slight decrease in acceleration as compared to my 26'er on sprints up climbs, but not too bad, and it more than makes up for it in stability DH and grip in corners. And it's way more palyful than I thought it would be. It just wants to pop off lips, and jump over rooty sections. This thing just freaking rails and doesn't want to slow down when coasting. And none of that 'feel like I'm on top of it, rather than in it' type stuff...it definitely feels good.
