Personally I'd just bump up to the IM78's. To me the IM76 seems to be a classic example of ski with not much of a home. Sure it has some qualities to it but nothing that the IM78 can't do and usually do it much better.

IM76 is new so I'm not sure how many on here have anytime on them.

Being only 5' 1" and 135 lbs. I was thinking a 165 long Monster 78 would just be too much ski. Thinking more along the 156 cm size range.

Thanks

where do you ski? how aggressive are you? more on or off piste?

im76 might be a better choice for your size...

Skiing only North Carolina during this nearly no work time, so almost no off piste available. They groom about every run. Thats OK for me, I like carving groomed runs. Any snow (or ice) is good!! Intermediate skier. Not too agressive.

Thanks

Skied the Monster 78's. I am 5'7, 165 lb, mostly on piste, moderately aggressive, three weeks a year. Coming from Volkl Allstars, I found them a poor piste ski, poor grip on ice, quite some work to make them carve. Had no opportunity to try soft snow.

Best not to try skis without testing.
