So, how many days so far? - Page 7

15.  The most in the past two years.

Thursday 3/5 was day 31 for me. All at Hunter.

80 and counting.  It is the least I've ever had at this point of the season.  I'm fortunate that I've been pretty busy all year.

I'm sitting in Denver International on the way back fom Winter Park.  This brings me to 23.

26 days so far, 5 in the Catskills and the rest in Tahoe.

Still aiming for 40+.

I have 29 in... All but 3 were at 7 springs, PA.  The count would have been 5 more if it weren't for bruised toes

29 now, more or less in line with past seasons. Spent part of the weekend checking old calendars (do this sometimes after post-ski beers, a bad habit). And the best news is that my hill will probably extend the season another week, until April 27.

Yesterday was number 59 for the season, and we're still going strong.  I'll easily get another 10 in, but that might be it.

44 so far, at least another 12 to go.

26 of them on the Bilzzard WC SL's that UP Racer sold me and LOVIN IT!

Yesterday was day 48.

First day out 11/21/08 at Seven Springs, PA

10 days and 6 slopes in Vermont and 38 days in PA

Hoping for at least 10 to 12 additional days at 3 to 4 more slopes!

sixty so far ... should get another 15-20 in before the snow all disappears :-)

I may lose one if Windham loses all its snow

88 thus far; I think I'll have to go on another road trip to hit 100 lift served days, unless Snowbowl stays open an extra weekend.

24 so far and I should hit 40.

15 Mammoth

5 Alta

1 Snowbasin

1 Powder Mountain

2 Mt Baldy (CA)

My local hill just closed and I am done for the season. I got in 56 days, largely due to being unemployed.  I could have easily reached 75-80 days, but I had to spend time on the bike to keep up my fitness.

Now I am fully dedicated to mtb training (race season starts April 26). And the best part is that I shall start a new job on April 6.

Unemployed and only 92?

Tisk, Tisk...

I ended up with 7

Two in PA at BK

One in VA at Wintergreen

Four in northern NC

Got my daughter to try it once, and got my son out skiing twice, the second time was da bomb, even though he only lasted two hours.  I'm already upgrading his gear for next season

I passed 100 March 3.  That's been my average  total since 1970.  I hit 134 last season and expect to top that before we leave Colorado the end of April.

#10) It was a few weeks ago, but it was not a good day. I went to Whitetail and skied up Sidewinder. From there, I shouldered my skis and hiked the road to the top of the detachable quad. My feet got really messed up hiking and I couldn't ski good after that. From there, I skied down Angel Dropping to ridge Runner, then skied up Ridge Runner. Now I was above the expert terrain wondering how I was going to get down on my bc gear. While I was standing there, trying to recover, the Whitetail telebumpers appeared. They inspired me to make some halfway decent turns (peer pressure) on Far Side (the easiest way down from there). I thought I was doing OK, but they skied backwards and passed me. I wanted to ski out from there, but the trail was all mud. I rode up the lift, really struggled down the front side, my feet were killing me. I was snowplowing, traversing and diagonal sideslipping. I switched to my regular heavy duty telemark gear and skied some more, but it was painful.

Thanks for reading. :)

Well done.  Cracking 50 beats cracking kneecaps don't it?

Tuesday 3/24 was day 35 for me. All at Hunter.

Yesterday made day 71-I'm hoping for 75 if the snow lasts here in WNY..........

11 so far.  We only have two more weeks left and I most likely will not get out this weekend.  It looks like I will finish with 12.   Much better than the 4 I got in last year.

These days it is really good to have a full time job so while I wish I could have got in a few more days I am happy.  I had a great year.

Hey, it's dumping out there.  Call in sick.  If I hadn't skied yesterday and had a bad night with the knee, I'd be there.
