I'm sorry, Vail can whine all they want but they got MAJOR press for this, and I would bet their reservations (had it not been an off year) would probably show a huge increase after this hit.
I suspect with the image being plastered all over TV and the Internet, Vail sees a huge increase in reservations for Gay Ski Week.

So did the "new porn star" get in any kind of... trouble? Or was it not his fault so he is- faultless?

Ahso, Confuschis say, man who hang on lift upside down, have crack up.

Confuschis say, man who walk through airport door sideways, going to Bangkok.

my guess would be that the guy in the picture would be suing vail even if that picture was never taken. Or maybe he cut a "don't sue / don't talk, we take good care of you" type deal.

On second thought, that might be likely, does anyone know of a statement made by the victim?

Ahh, young grasshopper. That's what insurance is for. The amount of cash that actually comes out of Vail's coffers will be limited. We have more insurance up in here than you can imagine.

Ah, young grasshopper, I know that! However, insurance premiums do change and go up when they have claims.

Lying to your employer is not helpful in furthering your wrongful termination claim.

But could anyone resist taking that photo?

First, have we no empathy and privacy for people any longer in this stupid ass country?!?!

Who wants a photo of themself, wife, kids etc..in some embarrassing and life threatening position?!?!

Also, trying to hide behind the guise of the 1st amendment and the media is way overboard and a line should be drawn to having some good taste people.

The lying photog deserves to be canned, he deserves to get his ass sued, as well as the incompetent flunky lifties that work at Vail and Vail Resort themselves.

You put your life and safety in these people's hands, and they are liable and obligated to ensure safety to their guest on their private property.

Lastly..glad that wasn't me...haha..what a friggin racket!!
