Keystone reported 0" new which somehow came up to about boot top in the Outback. Geoff and I played tour guide and we had a great day. Good skiing with everyone. Thanks to John for letting me try those Watea 94s. The 178 is way short for me, glad I found out.

Steve, we owe you and Geoff a huge thanks!!!
We all had a ton of fun.
Steve, thanks for the suggestion for dinner, we ate well.

Geoff, You make a great sherpa! Mr TC will be forever grateful!!

Going to bed soon, to catch up my sleep (eh COskigirl?)

See you all at A Basin tomorrow!

Oh, and did I mention, the snow was awesome!!

Hey TC - Heads up! I can't ski with you tomorrow but I might just show up to wave hi on my way into Silverthorne for my adventures tomorrow. Depends on traffic and how early I get out of the house. I'll shoot you a text on my way up if you should look for me.

I don't remember, its been too long since my last powder day.

Really just trying to give TC a hard time since that's her usual response to a good day of skiing that the rest of us weren't there for.

But I got a picture of Terry and John collapsed in a heap at the end of the day!

TC,
It was good to see and ski with you today. Miss Olivia had a good time and next time we hope to see you at Copper!! I'll post up my pics of everyone drinking hot chocolate as soon as I can photoshop the brightness levels.

It was a very good day.
I was surprised by a big hug from COSkigirl as I approached the lodge. It was early enough that we had a few minutes to chat, but then they dropped the rope for first chair. First chair wasn't vital, because it wasn't a powder day, but we were fairly excited and ready to ski!!

Met up with Geoffda, and JMD first thing then caught UGASkidawg and Miss O on the next chair.
Firm groomers for the most part, which was fun, but the real fun was when Miss O showed me how to do moguls on National. It was so much fun I went back for another stab at.
Great fun!!!

I didn't take a lot of pics, but I got a few, which I'll post soon. Its been a whirlwind weekend thus far, with much more fun in store.

Trekchick it was a pleasure meeting and skiing with you, Terry, John and geoffda yesterday. Also great meeting UGASkiDog and Miss Olivia. Sorry about the suggestion of heading on up to the top where the sun was shining. I really did not know the chairs would stop for 15 minutes. Leaving us hanging in the shade, wind blowing, shivering, toes freezing, fingers numbing, and noses graying. I know I left a great first impression.Hope to share many more turns with you and many more Bears this season. James.

Yes, another very good day. I particularly enjoyed watching Terry exit the trees in Montezuma Bowl riding switch--on JMD's 888's no less!

Wish we had a picture of that one!

Dang where was the camera?
I'd have love to have gotten that one, for sure.

After the chair issue we decided we needed a HC break, which is when the camera first came out
Miss O and her daddy UGA Skidawg

JMD and Geoffda, starting to get the feeling back in their toes.

Time to play in Montazuma Bowl.

When the day was done, we hit the road and headed to Snowmass......(more pics to follow).

This trip has been incredible.
Da boyz are staying with me at Snowmass for the last day of their trip, with dreams of meeting up with you all on the next round in two weeks.

Steve, thanks for guiding us around Keystone Friday afternoon. We had a great time. You always hear about someone showing you their secret powder stash, but not often about their secret front side empty groomer. What a gas it was bombing down that with you, TC and Mr. TC.

TrekChick, it was great meeting you and Terry. The girls really enjoyed meeting you and skiing with you.

You're welcome. Keystone's a good place if you know where to go.

To round out the trip, John and Terry accompanied me to Snowmass for the kick off of ESA Aspen Snowmass.
We had boot top(or deeper) snow in many areas....Common word of the day............Incredible!!
They took a few days to explore here during some Epic conditions!
I only got one shot during this fun time only because we were having so much fun skiing we didn't pull the camera out.

John off Long shot

For those of you who don't know, Long Shot at Snowmass is an amazing run that includes glades, groomers and bumps.
It is a small hike to the entrance. Terry did it with little whining
