Krypton pros vs. Lange Freerides

Curious how the Kryptons fit compared to a Lange Freeride 120.

I have a pair of Langes, size 28 that have been blown out & ground to make them a comfortable fit for my size 11.5 foot.

I have been interested in trying out a pair of Krypton Pros based on many rave reviews. Since you can't really demo boots, I have been keeping an eye out for something used. There is a pair of 28.5's barely used available to me cheap enough to try out.

Just want to know if the shell sizing between the 2 are similar enough to buy without being able to try them on 1st.

Thanks guys.

fit is different:

lange = narrower, lower instep,

also the lange sizes are US (3,4,5,6, etc) and the kryptons are 26,27,28, etc) so the sizes are not that interchangeable.

overall: if the price is really cheap, great, roll the dice and see if you like em. best is to see a boot fitter, and see what fits you.

but what is the problem WITH the langes in the first place?
