Hello to all...

looking for a reasonably priced hotel IN or CLOSE to the Tremblant ski village.

Most of the Intrawest accommodations are overpriced....

Thus far I have only found>>
Comfort INN about 10 mins from the ski village

Also ST. Bernard in the village is more reasonable..

ANY ADVICE, or your experience shared here would be welcomed and appreciated.!!!

>>family of 4, skiing in Tremblant late February, beginning of March<<
after or before school break!! I know

We stayed at the St. Bernard about 7 or 8 years ago. It was fine. Great location at the top of the village. Tremblant is a great place for a family vacation. Spend the extra dollars to stay in the village and park your car for the entire time. It is totally worth it. Just think about loading and unloading all the ski gear and getting the family together and into the car every morning.

Check out Tremblantinsider.com for good information. La Source is a kid magnet as are beaver tails. Have fun.

Lots of great information on: http://www.tremblant-insider.com/

Also, try ask on the forum: http://kokotele.proboards18.com/index.cgi - JB and other friendly people will give you fantastic information.

Take a look at the packages on the official site, there are some good ones sometimes. Mostly wen you are looking for hotel+lift+rental.

We have got there last Dec, 2006 and loved.

Good Luck!!

We stayed in a one BR condo early season two years ago for about $125CA a night. We found it on VRBO,com and its a couple who owns 2 condos within 10 minutes of the slopes. Really nice staying in a place with a full kitchen and W/D. Not sure their availability but maybe worth a try:

Nice 2 bedroom Condo

I stayed at the unit below 2 years back. Ignore his 5 day minumum as he rented to us for 3 nights. Very good guy to deal with.

Ski in / out and 2 minute ski or 10 minute walk to the main village.

Very well appointed unit. I think we paid $175 - $200 night, which is cheap if you have more than 2 people.

I have stayed at Le Grand Lodge and Club Treblant. Both are great. I thought the food at the club was a bit better. They even gave us a fanny pack with a great little lunch to take to the slopes! It was about 10 years ago though. I would highly recommend both places. Free shuttles were provided to the mountain. They were located on the other side of the lake, but only about a 5-10 minute ride away. At the club, the deer come across the frozen lake while you are eating dinner to be fed by the club from large troughs. Very pretty.
Le Grand Lodge is newer than the Club, so accommadations are a bit larger.
