I saw a blind skier yesterday at Timberline (Mt. Hood). Sighted partner had long webbing straps connected to each ski tip. He held straps in his hands and straps went back to blind skier. Apparently, they used the straps to pass "turn left", "turn right", "speed up", "slow down" commands. They looked like they had it down to a science, almost beautiful to watch in the synchronicity of it. Inspiring.
