If he other binding was a Race 310. ( Not 3-12. No such thing.) The Race, 310 and 412 and 614 & 1018 all had the same hole pattern (All Xentrix models Race, SX, CR )

It is the Device 310 and Centros that are different

I have a pair of these Atomic skis with Xentrix 412 bindings.

In contacted Atomic I received a message while at work.  When returning home was told Randy had left a message saying the bindings are no longer indemnified.  Recall is over as of Sept 20, 2013.

I have the skis and the bindings, Health Canada is still posting the recall and Atomic is refusing to comply.

Any comments on this?

As I remeber it they must have a particular manufacture date to be defective. Not all Xentrix 412's were part of the recall.

I wasn't trying to imply that they were taken off the list because of the recall. Rather, that they were not longer on the list as a whole class because age wise that model was no longer something they were comfortable having you on.

What are the current replacement options for Race/Xentrix bindings mounted on older Atomic skis? Are there any compatible new bindings (or NOS still indemnified) out there for sale?

Would be interested to know about anything that has a DIN range suitable for rec skiing, say 4-14 type range, not race DIN stuff that starts at 10 or 12 and goes up from there.

TIA.

Sadly there are no other bindings that fit that hole pattern.

Back on a semi-serious note, what's the word on the underlying plates those older Race/Xentrix bindings are typically mounted on. If the existing hole patterns don't conflict with mounting of new/different bindings are the plates themselves questionable in any way due to age, use, etc?

If the hole patterns do conflict, and there are no special considerations, (power channels on the top of the ski that have to be accommodated, etc), what's a good option for a replacement plate for all mountain rec skiing (not racing)?
