ULLR FEST!

Has anyone ever been to Ullr Fest in Breck? I never have, but I'll be working through part of it. The event that cracks me up: The Breckenridge Dating Game!
ya, been to a few. The parade is fun, the traffic is not and the crowded bars are not either.

But, it's a fun time.

I have a glass that says "Ullr Fest - Breckenridge" on it so, I must have attended one at some point.

I was in the "Mary Jane Birthday Bash Parade" last season. Does that count?

This year, I've grown used to 2 hours from Breck back to Dillon. Yuck!

So is it kind of like, if you remember Ullr Fest, you were not really there?

Ullrfest is much more tame that it used to be. I always get a kick out of the guys riding kegs as they are being dragged behind a truck.
Pretty good stuff. It doesn't matter how cold it is (-15* was the coldest I've seen), there are bound to be a number of topless people. Unfortunately, mostly guys.

Once again, the youth of today have failed to carry on tradition.

LOL

Ain't that the truth.

Ha. ha! I always get nervous when we have one of these events, and my boss tells me to make sure I have the Breck police phone number handy! Fortunately, it's usually an exaggeration. The Beerfest crowd had little interest in the Barney Ford Museum!

Meanwhile, there's massive snow right now, so Ullr is responding.

O.T. Jonathan, thanks for joining Breck 150 on FaceBook.

The wife and I were there for parade and all 3 seasons ago.

A heck of a good time and the parade was funny. Some of the female staff from Kenosha Steakhouse were dressed up as Reindeer in skimpy attire with the appropriate names of slutty/vixen etc...

There was also a Goo Goo Dolls concert in town that night that MTV was filming in HD.

Good time and recommended.

I think it's more because when the outdoor festivities went late into the night, drunk people were freezing to death. It's really not a good idea to take a drunken nap outside at night in Breck. You tend not to wake up.

It was meant as a joke.

Unfortunately, drunk people freeze to death in Breckenridge without Ullr Fest.

I knew this guy.

Did everything in my power to set him straight, but failed miserably. OT: Love the typo on his age. He was 43, BTW, Sorry for hijacking my own thread.

Ahh, I have a couple nice shirts from Ullr's (the bar)

The last Ullr Fest I attended was two years ago. Some skanky looking women were handing out Condoms to the young men who lined the streets.(I wonder if that was for contraception or disease)

I ended up with a hat with horns on it and a g-string.

Which my Wife quickly confiscated.

I'm in Breck all week, any suggestions on what "not to miss" of the Fest? I wasn't really planning on hitting anything, but since I'm here solo (for another six weeks), I would like to get out and meet some folks.
