hi i have the salomon verse 10 with the pilot binding 180cm.

problem is when i took them to the shop, the guy said the mounting pins were not in the box. he said they were unmountable with out the pins . i have been trying to source these pins . i have found plenty of used bindings but not sure which ones i need .

are all pilot binding mounting pins interchangable? here is a pic of my set up. i dont have the skiis in front of me they are sitting at the shop till i can find some pins. but outdoor gear review( where i got this pic from) says they are 710's but when i do a search for 710's they dont look the same .

any help or advise?

Can't you contact whoever you bought the bindings from and either ask them to send you the pins or return them and get your money back?

contact

yea i tried to contact the shop i got them at and they said the pins were in there !!! they were not . they saidthey would try to see what the can do for me and havnt heard back from them even after calling back a few times i keep getting the run around .

i just really need the pins and ill be in business . is anone familiar enough with the salomon pilot bindings to help me out with some advise / information?

Odds are you need the pins to attach the binding plates to the skis. Without the pins = bindings/plates will not attach to the skis.

Your local salomon retailer should be able to order the pins from salomon.

Off topic, YET another issue with binding systems solving problems that never existed

yea the shop i took them to is a salomon retailer it seems that this is an older binding i think they are from 03, and pics are unorderable.

so im trying to source these bindings used and use the used pins with my new equiptment. the only thing i could think of to salvage it , otherwise they are unuseable. if i had even one im sure grainger would have similar bolts but i dont even know what they look like.

anyone have experiance with these salomon pilot bindings?

the picture i posted in the first thread is the binding i have .

binding part needed

I also had a part missing when I went to have my bindings mounted to my new crossmax skis-S810 ti Spheric pilot binding.
need the rubber part between the toe plastic riser plate and the ski. Have been trying to get it from Salomon now for several weeks. Anyone Please help me out or point me in the right direction to purchase what I need. Thanks

you need your shop to contact soloman, thats the only way soloman deals with things.

I did to go to the local shop, they said faster for me to go to Salomon directly, I did and after 2 weeks of going back and forth they said they didn't have the part I needed, that some east coast shop may have them etc and good luck and hope ya find it....thats it...that sucks, I just need the missing rubber mounting part that goes beween the toe plastic part/riser and the ski, was missing in the box of new S810 Ti pilot bindings when I took the new skis and binding box to the  local shop to have them mounted. I would buy new pilot bindings if I could find some that would fit. Salomon Crossmax 8 pilot. Can anyone help me out? Be nice to find the part vs buying new bindings.

thanks
