My brother who did some skiing back in the 80's died and left me some ski's and I would like to know if there is any value or should I haul them to St. vinny's. I know nothing about skiing what so ever so please bare with me. The ski's are new and have had no bindings on them information on them is as follows.
VO SLALOM Grade AA 8-10-88 , EL COMP grade AA 12=10-85,GS ELECTRA grade AA 11-9-85

Thank you for looking at this and for any help you can give me.I also have some that say Down-Hill that have Marker bindings on them.

Bill, all are out of date by current ski designs. They are high end HI-FI S-VHS VCR's in a world of Blu-Ray. On that note, do not haul them off to your local charity, they do have some sentimental value to some of the ski geeks here, yours truly included. I would be interested in the VO Slaloms. And possibly some of the others that you have.

I talked to Bill earlier on the phone, a very nice guy. The skis will be shipped shortly to me, I will be acting as the "steward" and make sure they are properly preserved. These skis will be kept caringly, I will say, if they ever end up out of my hands, it will be in some sort of ski museum, donated in his bothers name. I doubt there is another pair of VO's unmounted, still in plastic, unless they are on Vashon Island.

I've got "some sort of ski museum"

May need to have the steward do a walk through for certification

It does re-raise the question I've asked myself about where it all goes one day......

I really want to make my way up there.

I plan on taking out the VO's that already have bindings. This pair will stay virgins.
