Steamboat -- nice occasion restaurant

Thanks for the demo info. May go with skihaus since they're about two blocks away from the friends' house where I'm staying. And since I'm getting free lodging from them and probably use of a car, I'll be taking them out to dinner often, so what's a really nice Steamboat special occasion restaurant I can treat them to?

Chart House, expensive, good food.

The Steamboat Smokehouse, real good food, prices not too bad, throw peanuts on the floor. ( my kind of place)

Chart House has been gone for a few years now... Three Peaks is now in that location, still expensive, good food.

Double Z's? Not nice, but great dry rub ribs

FinnDog is the epicurean regarding Steamboat.

Ya, it's one of my favorites too Phil. But the OP was looking for a "really nice special occasion" place. The ZZ doesn't qualify as that. Especially as their logo is two pigs humping

What? The sign by the door clearly said... (I am assuming to their woman customers)."No shirts, No shoes, No Problem!"

Ragnars on the mountain at Rendezvous saddle. You take the gondola up and then are transported by sleigh to the restaurant. The food is really good and the whole experience is great. It is actually the best food I have had at Steamboat.
