Maybe you could add "Not Patrolled - make your own rescue arrangements to get your ass out if you fall!." to the ski at your own risk sign?
As for my little resort, we close runs for snowmaking, grooming or lack of snow cover, and we take a very dim view of any dodos who decide to duck the rope. We have a three-strikes-and-you-lose-your-pass system, and for those with day lift tickets, you can lose it after two strikes.
That being said, if you start mouthing off to resort staff, you lose it on the spot. Usually the yahoos who duck the rope get lippy when they get caught. Then it's thanks for the pass, bye-bye, and we hope that you really enjoy paying for another pass.
