as in really long rope tows, rolling over numerous pulleys, note the rope clip with nylon chord and d-ring my buddy and I are using. the ski patrol (we were like mascots to the patrol) took our clips and put a torch to them to tweak them perfectly for the rope tows we skied at Arctic Valley.
be like really, very old,1957-58 in this case, now 50 years,. 6 years latr is still pretty f'in old, so post em up.
this one is about 6-7 years later, 1965, after living in Garmisch for four years. that would be levi chords, sz 28/28; black nylon, black side stretch panel downhill jacket (da kine of the times); head competition GS, 195 (one pair does all racing quiver for not-wealthy racing families); Heirling leather boots (racng modl); marker long thong bindings. We are training slalom on Mt. Baldy, and even then there was a right way to stand in the course and project some degree of confidence and stoke.http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3108/...e0d852c8_o.jpg
