How did you like it? I was wondering if it was worth spending a day here or not while up that way.

About minus 10 at 8:30, one of the ingredients of a light dry mix.
Only 4 lifts ( might splain the free parking & lack of lines).
View of the surrounding....

RoadR,
If you have young kids, the place is great, as long as the temperature is right, it can be cold! Laid back, all natural snow, light crowds!
More of the report on the way!

Best stuff is off the Buckeye platter,
Do the Nastar (only a $ Buck) need to do beter then a 25.6 to beat Mr. Vert; from team Epic, will be back with the right wax!

Always Chicago Ridge & the Cross Country center for different strokes!

If your looking for high speed quads & fur coats, best to keep heading on hwy 24 past Minturn, other wise next 10" day we know where to find some untracked after 3pm!

Would be nice to get a small group together & invade the Nastar track!
Hit the Beav today with Don & Betsy, overcast but nice snow!
Happy New Year Buddy!
Hope all is Well!

It's definitely worth a day. We stop by every year while we're making our CO swing and always have a blast.

It's definitely a great change of pace from the larger resorts out there in terms of vibe, crowds, and price.

FYI,
If anybody is doing Cooper this season, you can get discount tickets at Alpine Ski & Sport at 711 Harrison Ave in Leadville. That's the main drag that runs through town. Nice small shop that does great tunes!
Think they offer $35 tickets for Cooper, do a Google for more info!

I would add that if you buy tickets at King Soopers, they are only $33.

Yep. Nice little area where real estate is still pretty reasonable.
