With lots of snow in the forecast and an unstable shallow snowpack I wouldn't expect the alpine on Whistler to be open anytime soon.
Blackcomb has been able to open the alpine, but I don't know if Chainsaw is open or if they have just been bombing the crap out of it.
Wasn't able to make it up today, but my gf gave me a call around lunch to let me know not to bother arranging tomorrow off work. Everything off piste is still very rocky and lots of stumps and trees. Stuff like the Bite and Smoked Salmon are not really skiable as the snowpack is still too thin.
It's been puking in the Cascades, but Whistler is on another weather flow, Washington spots like Stevens and Crystal can get 2 feet and WB might get 2 inches. Baker makes it's own weather that place just doesn't count.
