Who said they were too much ski for a girl?
Oh, no one here did. But the guy who saw me looking at them at a swap tried to tell comprex (with me standing right there) that the Metrons were too much ski for a girl. I had to buy them at that point. And no, judging by the name on the swap tag, he wasn't the previous owner of them, trying to goad me in to the purchase. They had been owned by another woman.

No metrons..Solomon Axendo`s. Glorified rentals skis but good enough for this lifetime intermediate.

Looking forward to it. Everyone better get their skis sharpened up if we don't get much new snow the week before. Don't bother with wax, the ice will just scrape it off on the first run!

It's snowing hard here in Pittsburgh as we speak so. Good omen?

I'll likely just be there for Saturday.

Girl Scout merit pins qualify you to be compared to Gordie?

Hey Mr. West, your skis are alright by me, just be there.

I'm bringing my new girlie skis, 158 cm Rossi oversize and my gaper 174 K2 Recons so Bushwacker can make fun of me.

I have always wanted to ski Blue Knob so I will try and make it out to this. Anyone else coming from Eastern, PA?

that's okay, he makes fun of my politics. We can make fun of his bindings.

I can also make fun of the gear whoe's by saying "It ain't the arrow, its the indian". At a resort like BK don't look for me to be on anything but junk. I will save my new gaper Metrons for the bunny hill.

I have requested the days off this year.

sick see we will get to ski together!

metron are actually the perfect BK ski. they kick ass on ice but dont totally suck in powder. the only issue the cap edge can easily be dented and cracked.

Cool, I hope you can make it. My tots will be on the bunny hill laughing at your Metrons. I'm gonna get them in their first never ever lessons (aged 5 and 6) then sneak off to ski with Bears while mom camps in the lodge. I can't wait

My Predators are mounted alpine for 317mm.

Dunno if tr15 has CRBs on his Stealths but I seem to remember he wasn't happy about them. Mounting position? I know that the front half of the Elan risers is kinda limited in length, and doing a true chord-mount with a CRB may require rebuilding the front half of the riser.

Now let's get this straight. You want me to scrape the rust of the tele skis and bring them to BK? I haven't been on them in two years and haven't drank the kool-aid or eaten the gorp in that length of time either.

The problem? Some A-hole keeps sending me a free membership to the F.A.T. club and I don't rip it up like I should.

The other problem is that I finally broke down last year and planned my boots. Two and a half on one side and three and a a half on the other. I don't know why it took me so long to do that. They were not as hard to plane as I thought they would be.

I would have to dig those suckers out and go on a crash course to get up to speed by then.

You still have time to get up to speed on those 2- make it your New Years resolution.

So what does the F stand for- obviously the A and T stands for "Alpine Telemark"

So plan (or is that plane) the AT boots too!
