Impressive. Am I to understand that all those people did better than Kitt as well? If so maybe they need a new national pacesetter.

Edit....didnt know Phil Mahre is the national pacesetter not Kitt. My bad.

Day-umm. Frikkin' shpanked those runs. Excellent job. I am not worthy to post in this thread - forgive me.

What the hell??? How did I miss this thread yesterday!!

Thanks, guys! I really attribute that day more to course set and slope than anything.... The race run was pretty damn flat, and the course wasn't very technical....

I have no delusions. I know that as the run gets steeper, the snow gets harder, and the turns get bigger, the more and more he would separate!

I gotta tell you, though... it did feel great. I've been a pacesetter for a long time, and AJ has been doing the regional trials for 11 years now.... this is the first time I've ever beat him. It's especially cool because the only world cup race I ever watched live was "America's Downhill" at Aspen, back when I was in college.

AJ won.

See.

This was the reason I wanted you on our "Western" NASTAR team when RR was trying to put together an East-vs-West deal.

Most decidedly well done.

Thanks...

This is more up your alley.... what I'm even more pumped about is the fact that we had our biggest month of November in history (snowfall) and we had 14" last night. I took an early lunch break and got first tracks at Marquette Mountain and dropped 3 cliffs that I have NEVER dropped before the month of March!!!

What a freakin' great start to the season!
