Stating cheap in stowe

Does anyone have a reccomendation on lodging in stowe? We're missing the weekend by skiing the few days before Christmas, but we'd still like to be able to save some cash due to this lovely recession. In all honesty I dont care what the accomadations are like so long as the place is fairly warm and dry. Any reccomendations would be greatly appreciated.

Riverside Inn is pretty cheap.

Riverside is dog-friendly, too, and the rec trail will be right out your door, and the Shed will be across the parking lot so you won't have to drive up the mountain road in the dark. That probably means more to me than it does to Epic. Fiddler's Green is pretty cheap. too and has a little more country inn ambience and a nice breakfast and you can walk to the Matterhorn. Sensing a pattern here?

Thanks guys. just to clarify, when i say cheap i mean id probably sleep on the dirt floor of a cabin for the right price. are there any ski dorms or ski hostels in stowe that anyone knows about?

Not sure of your latest question but there is a clean nice Best Western in Waterbury about 20 minutes south of Stowe:

You might also want to try your question on this board:

Best Western will probably cost more than either of those.

If you want to really rough it, I have a hay loft.
