Professional big-mountain snowboarder Xavier De La Rue was caught in a huge avalanche last winter and credits an ABS backpack with saving his life.

These ABS packs are very expensive...around $1000 USD I believe. But a small price to pay if it can keep you alive, no? yes?Moderator Note:
