I Just received an interesting email from Copper PR. They're doing a "pow pow platter": One day at Copper, one at Steamboat and one at Winter Park. $99 for all three days. Read more here.

How is someone going to get to all of them in three days? Steamboat is hours away from either of them, and Winter Park isn't exactly close to Copper.

you're just playing right? cause I just found out about the pow pow platter and told some fiends about it and it looks like they're going to do it. What I can't tell is do they have to be consecutive days? or can they take a break between them cause that would be a fun, long, 3 days.

I don't think you have to use them three days in a row. Even if you did, you can spend the first day at Winter park, because it's closer to Denver. Leave at the end of the day and drive to Copper, which will probably take you about two hours and the third day at Steamboat, which will take you another 2 hours or so. Also, there are lots of cheap hotels in Steamboat that are on the free bus system. When going to Copper, stay at the Snowshoe hotel in Frisco. The free bus stops in front of it. Have fun!

PS: I just asked PR to tell me about the consecutive days. I'll get back to you.

Ill second the Snowshoe motel in Frisco. The bus stops right in front of the main office. There's plenty of places to eat there and they have a Walmart.

I'm trying really hard not to hold that against them.

3 VERY LONG days it will be! 2 hrs drive at the end of full day skiing, two days in a row (if not three).

A killer deal on the other hand, would be to get TWO of these triple play tickets, spend TWO days at each resort, and just drive every OTHER day instead of EVERYDAY after skiing. 6 days of skiing for $198!

Seems like a great deal there!

Just a quick question from the UK, what does it mean when it says "no blackout dates, only whiteouts"?

Cheers,

Joe

Joe,

A play on words, Snowing=Whiteouts. Many of the highly discounted passes/deals usually have blackout dates when they cannot be used, such on on US holidays or during busy times. No blackout means they can be used anytime. Good Deal.
