Will have pix to post shortly. Was very nervous when I dropped in to Park City on the way to Vegas for work. Snow conditions looked very iffy. I skiied 3 days--two at the Bird and one at Alta. The last day at Snowbird we had 12 inches of fresh and it was thigh deep in the trees under Gad II...epic early season skiing! Prior to that, off piste was sketchy at best with rocks, stumps and other obstacles still exposed. Even though the fresh didn't cover everything, it made off piste skiing very manageable. The forecast calls for more snow over the coming week so it should keep getting better. The Park City resorts, however, still need another couple feet to really get lots of terrain open. Ping me with questions if you're about to head to head out there and want some more info. I'll be back out for two days on the 18th and 19th for some more more early season riding!

Cheers and Happy Holidays,
