Looks like they have been getting pounded the past day and it is going to continue this next week. Just wondering how much snow you guys are getting up there and how the conditions at Breck, Keystone, Copper, etc are right now? Im gonna be arriving next weekend and am hoping the skiing is starting to get good! Let me know what you think.

Breck is pretty good, but E-chair and Peak 10 are not yet open. There is another big storm expected this week. Southwestern through Central Mtns is supposed to get wacked. Hopefully we will get some love too.

I am going to shoot some videos for the blog this week. Stay tuned.

Been here in Summit County since late Saturday. Conditions have been darn good to excellent at Loveland, Copper and A-Basin.

One more ski day to go for this trip and methinks it'll be back to Copper tomorrow.

Biggest Week of Season?

This could be the biggest snow week of the season for Summit and Eagle.

Tally is supposed to be 5 feet from Friday last to this Friday, the 19th.

The deepest snow I ever skied was in Vail on Sunday - up to my thighs.

Tomorrow and Thursday are supposed to be monster snow days.

This has been an insane winter. It could not have picked a better time to dump on this place with all the holiday skiers coming in for the week.

I will be a Breck this weekend, and if the snow is even half as good as last weekend it will be a good time. Then again it is also supposed to be in the negative single digits this weekend again as well.

i cant take it anymore. seeing powder shots ugh i need to shoot powder into my veins (the good kind). i am heading out there late jan. i was interested in some good i think its called "laxcountry" in CO (back country thats easily accessible and easy to get a lift back to.) call me spoiled but i hate tracked out powder the troughs created are so killer on my knees i feel that im about to fall apart. dont get me wrong i have put the work in i weigh 140 and i can squat 235 20 times sllllloooowwwwly.

anyway i love epicski and if any of you are into neil young he just released alot of his stuff on formats that are much better than CD quality.

PS i fly into denver 4 hours earlier than my buddies from college do and i will have a car. any idea what i should do to kill time? i was thinkin going to my favorite brewery (the great divide) in Denver.
