met up with Laurel Hill Crazy and his buddy Marcus today. Some new snow at springs over the past couple days actually made the first couple hours some pretty soft skiing.

LHC in the early morning fog

Marcus tears it up for an old dude.

Jeff ripping the Crud

and since LHC and Marcus are old they didnt get to enjoy what was some of the best runs I have had in Pee Yah this year.

I then met up with my buddy Jason and we skied some youd have to be insane to ski that thin coverage in the trees.

Me with the chicken dance thing going on

Jeff(pasucks)

and some cool looking trees because of the yesterday's ice storm

honestly you dont want to ski here, if you have the choice. Lucky for me I am out of here by janurary.

Bushwack took it easy on me and Marcus. Even found a passable photo of me. Nice meeting you and Jeff. You guys are dynamic an inspiring skiers, lots of fun. Thanks for sharing the enthusiasm.

Damn, Josh, I had a car today and would have gone the extra distance to meet and ski with you and with Rob and Marcus again. Instead, I went to Ski Liberty. It was all man-made and snowguns blasting dense snow everywhere, but the sun was shining and the skiing was good.

If I had the car for tomorrow, I would be there. I hope for your sake it doesn't get too crowded. Start early!

yeah, I think they need to make it steeper but never officially 'open' it

I was there today as well. Visibility early was just plain dangerous. Got better later. I though that video was Alpine. Towards the end of the day, when I looked across from Tyrol abd saw the tracks. I thought,"now why didn't I think of that?". Also today, the WPRC kids moving about in herds was really annoying. Especially when they stop in a big group just below a headwall and have a class.

If anyone is up there again let me know. I've never actually skied with any Beas. I'm relatively new to the site.

Bushwacker - I may be out in LCC last week in Feb. Would you be available for a tour?

I'm shocked!

Fresh tracks at 7-springs? Just amazing.

Still waiting for snow here.

And thanks for going easy on the "old guys". We appreciate that.

Carvin Up Wisp

kied Wisp yesterday and for the most part it was pretty good.

Only truly bad snow was on parts of The face other than that though decent groomer skiing.

Jim K skis smooth and in control. nice guy as well. he just has to get a cell phone that works.

We've gotten off to a great start this season. This past weekend was the fourth weekend skied here in SW Pa. Unfortunately this week's mild wet weather is going to compromise the conditions.
