Boot Recommendations?

Hello,

Need an advice from the ultimate wisdom of this forum:

I recently discovered I've been skiing in a boot that is too big for me. However they are very comfy and I do not feel any problems that I can blame my boots on.

But according to all boot recomendations, boot should fit very tight for max performance. So I am thinking of buying a pair of new boots of my size, but totally lost in the reviews, contradictive advices and not very helpful salespeople in the store.

I understand I should buy softer boots (I am a female, about 120 lbs and 5'6"). I would say I am an advanced skier, trying to get to expert skiing, ski mostly off piste on variable snow.

Should I spend a fortune on a brand new pair or just get cheap used ones of my size? What to look for when shopping for a boot?

boot selection and fit are too subjective to be answered in the general or abstract sense. The surest way to get the proper boot for you, and the proper fit of that boot, is to go to someone who is on the master list of bootfitters that AC maintains on this site. here's the link:

EpicSki Master Bootfitters

Thanks for the link. I bought Salomon Evolution 9W, - cannot imagine how I managed to turn in my old boots, the new ones are so much better
