Women and Home Depot

Charlie was fixing a door and found that he needed a new hinge, so he sent his wife Bev to Home Depot.

At Home Depot, Bev saw a beautiful Bathroom faucet while she was waiting for Walt, the manager, to finish
 waiting on a customer.

When Walt was finished, Bev asked 'How much for that faucet?'

Walt replied, 'That's pewter and it costs $300.'

'My goodness, that sure is a lot of money!' Bev exclaimed. Then she
proceeded to describe the hinge that Charlie had sent her to buy, and
Walt went to the back room to find it.

From the back room Walt yelled, 'Bev, you wanna screw for that hinge?'

Bev replied, 'No, but I will for the faucet.'

This is why you can't send a woman to Home Depot

(Disclaimer: sent to me from my wife.)

Ya know, I asked my wife to remind me how we ended up with a our nice kitchen sink and faucet, and she hasn't answered the question.

I studied much on this.

In college I took many courses on ancient Egyptian plumbing.

I was a Pharaoh Fawcett Major.

I'm still kicking myself in the balls for posting this stupid comment. "Humor" that died in 1975 .... should have stayed dead.

We need a "Gong Show" icon complete with sound effects.

that story is a lie: there isn't a manager/staff member at any Home Depot that would know where/what a product was or go into "the back" to look for it....

Well, since Bonni quit anyway.
