I'm 24, 5'9", 155lb and an advanced skier. If I know my definitions, I ski "old school" with feet close together most of the time, but less so in deep snow by necessity. A couple years ago I purchased a pair of Volkl 5-Stars (168cm) and love them on-piste. Grip is fantastic, lots of power out of the turns. However, they sink into powder and are too stiff for off-piste and moguls. I'm looking for some skis that will best compliment my present set. Primary usage will be trees and powder, they need to be damp enough for occasional bumps. Here's what I'm considering:

Volkl Mantra (177cm)
Fischer Watea 94 (178cm)
Elan 888 Alu (177cm)

How are these choices? Should I consider others? What are people's preferences between these three?

I'm heading to Whistler in a month and will attempt to demo them all, but I would nonetheless like to hear what you all think. Thanks!
