I dont get it...really. I love to ski, I like cold weather, love snow, but I do not like pain, at least not unless its soreness from the gym. So whats with the perenial ski tans? With the exception to warm days (few since I dont like Spring ski conditions) I always wear a face mask in addition to my FF helmet. Whatever skin is exposed feels like its being cut by knives when I ski. I dont know if I just have a low tolerance to frost bite, or if its as a result of always skiing fast, but I dont understand how so many people go around with these multicolored faces from all the wind burn.....not to mention its causing damage to the skin. So how, or why do you do it?
