Hey im new to this forum but ive read a few good posts so im gonna ask this queiston. Ive been skiing for about 10 years (17 now) and i have k2 skis and im lookiong to go for twin tip skis becuase im a good trail skier and i enjoy skiing on rails and hitting jumps and doing the 5'9", 190lbs
I can spend about 200-400max for skis ...what would you suggest?
Thank you in advance!

Welcome to Epic. Not a park guy, but some basic ideas: Do you mean to replace your directional skis? If yes, suggest last year's K2 Pubic Enemies if you want more of an all-mountain that can do the park half the time, I'd guess too heavy and non-symmetrical for serious rails/jumps/halfpipe. Last year's Fischer Addicts are always being offered super cheap on Tram or SAC, have a perfectly symmetrical shape, dead center mount, light, highly reviewed for park, switch, pretty good all over, but not for speed or crud. For tricks/rails, can't say, but suspect you want something even narrower and lighter. We have some real park guys who will probably come along and give you more particulars.

might i humbly suggest Newschoolers.com?

they are a more park/pipe/twins specific ski message board.

I have some k2 silencers 2 years old been skied twice once tow years ago once this season the top sheet on the edges has some bangs(learn to switch around) but i would let you have them for 350 or so maybe lower. Pm me if you are interested or email me at robmschoenlein@yahoo.com

So...you like K2s...don't want to spend a lot...like the park and all mtn....we should just put an auto reply for any question about "which twin tip to buy"...the answer is always the same: K2 PE..which is now the K2 extreme. Find a pair that are a year or two old....pay $180 for em and call it good.

come to think of it, i have a pair of 2006 Armada AR5's in a 176 length that i'd let go for $275 oBo.

they were ridden 3 1/2 days (so 1.5 full days), have been drilled 1X and are emaculate beyond that (i.e. no topsheet or edge damage...they were NEVER ridden in the park). Plus they have cool topsheet steeze.

if interested, holler.
