I've seen your reviews in the past and they seem spot on.
I get the possibly mistaken impression that about anything short of a Legend Pro is considered wimpy over there.
I have skied the Enforcer a fair bit recently and would classify it as a Mantra(ish) type of ski but with a medium flex and better dampening. To my tastes of course, this is a good thing as I think more highly of medium flex skis when soft and mixed conditions are on the agenda. I did ski the Enforcer off and on over a three day Nordica into in Utah. It delivered very good grip on manmade snow and was smooth and supple in shallow mixed and choppy conditions. The skis that are coming are '06-7 vintage with the very short twip tail. AFAIK, they are the same build as '07-8 and the same as the '08-9 except for the tail shape. I did not ski that '06-7 version however, so I will withold judgement. I have a set of pivot demo bindings lurking around and will mount one up upon arrival and get on 'em.
I think the bottom line here is this question.....What are you buying a 98mm 185 cm ski to do?
.....If it is to ski Nobis wannabe lines @ Nobis wannabe speeds, the Enforcer is probably not the ski. OTH, I'm not sure that 98mm-185 cm skis in general would be the first choice for that anyway......(I think
that's why Nordica makes the Blower)
Enforcer will be............185 only
Blower will be..............185 & 193
So far I have secured a few Marker M-18 Race bindings with wide brakes and they will be available at a good price. Other bindings will be available too for those that are not stocked up.
